Acquires Butter Chain Keeper
Sept. 14th, 2017
Feedback Sports (Golden, CO) makers of bicycle work stands, storage racks, bicycle tools and portable trainers has purchased the chain keeper designs of Butter (Boulder, CO). The deal allows Feedback Sports to manufacture and sell the popular b1 and b2 chain keepers. Butter will also continue to sell their version.
Michael Robson started Butter in 2012 and offers several innovative cycling products. “I really wanted to see the chain keeper reach a bigger market and I felt that Feedback Sports was a perfect fit,” said Robson. Feedback Sports’ founder Doug Hudson said, “When Michael approached us about the chain keeper, we were very interested. It’s a great design and goes so well with our other products. We also know Michael well from the local racing scene.”
The keeper holds the chain in place when the rear wheel is removed for maintenance, washing, travel and storage. The latest version will work with both quick release and through axle rear dropouts.
Feedback is now taking dealer orders for the chain keeper and will start shipping in late October. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.
