I purchased a RAKK from Feedback and it’s superb in every way—sturdy, holds my bike very secure, nicely put together. What’s equally important is what happened after I got it. Within a few days, due entirely to my reckless abandon, I fouled up one of the screw-in threads and the grip wouldn’t work. I called Feedback for advice and to order the right replacement part. First, I talked to a live person right off the bat; second, they were super accommodating and insisted—yes, insisted, that they would replace the part at no charge (and no shipping charge). It didn’t matter, if it was my fault, they wanted me to be entirely happy with their product. Within a few days ((not weeks) I got the part, easily fixed the stand and I’m back to where I should be. In this day and age where ‘customer service’ is an antiquated concept, Feedback truly stands out. A great company that’s worth doing business with. I’ll buy from them whenever I can.
I have traveled around the world to race and there are some places that are NOT conducive to cycling outside leading up to the event. Not only that, but sometimes the weather can be awful (down pouring rain, really really cold, etc.) prior to the race, and you just don’t want to risk riding outdoors. I can think of so many races over the past couple of years where having this would have been SO so helpful. It’s a carry-on; lightweight and easy to bring with me, so I don’t have to worry about mapping out a ride route in an unfamiliar city now. The Omnium will keep me safe and remove much of the travel hassle I experienced over the past couple of seasons. No assembly required–just set it up and hop on for a spin. And in case anyone is wondering, you can do a complete workout on it as it can definitely handle the watts.Lauren Barnett Professional Triathlete
