I’ve used the Omnium for all my warm-ups at the World Cups this year. Using the trainer exclusively for warm-ups is a little new for me but it’s good practice for Rio. The Omnium packs well in my EVOC bike case (my small frame size makes that possible) although it can probably be checked separately for travel. It’s the best [trainer] out there.
I purchased a RAKK from Feedback and it’s superb in every way—sturdy, holds my bike very secure, nicely put together. What’s equally important is what happened after I got it. Within a few days, due entirely to my reckless abandon, I fouled up one of the screw-in threads and the grip wouldn’t work. I called Feedback for advice and to order the right replacement part. First, I talked to a live person right off the bat; second, they were super accommodating and insisted—yes, insisted, that they would replace the part at no charge (and no shipping charge). It didn’t matter, if it was my fault, they wanted me to be entirely happy with their product. Within a few days ((not weeks) I got the part, easily fixed the stand and I’m back to where I should be. In this day and age where ‘customer service’ is an antiquated concept, Feedback truly stands out. A great company that’s worth doing business with. I’ll buy from them whenever I can.
RG: #bikefit with a view 😊 "Finding every opportunity to keep #bikefitting outside till winter sets in. Balconies can work well as a fit space, allowing rider to stay cooler when on the @feedbacksports Omnium, but enough room for me to observe the rider from multiple view points."
