While the Cannondale p/b Cyclocrossworld.com team began in 2008, its origins go back all the way to 1995 when director Stu Thorne took the now legendary cyclocross racer, Tim Johnson to his first CX practice in Concord, MA. The result of that early support was a relationship that cultivated six National Championships and the longest running professional cyclocross program in the U.S. Along the way, the program helped launch the cyclocross careers of riders like Jeremy Powers, Marc Gullickson and Lyne Bessette.
Katie Compton is one of the top cyclocross racers in the world. She’s the current and 12x Elite Women’s US National Champion, has amassed 22 World Cup wins during her career and has won the World Cup overall 2 times. She’s also a 4x medalist at the World Championships. Along with bike racing, she loves spending time with her 3 legged Rottweiler, skiing in the off season, and baking delicious gluten free items.
This year, she and her support staff/husband (Mark) will drive to the races in order to be more involved during the race weekends. This will allow them to truly enjoy the cross scene and the wonderful people that make it so fun. She’ll be racing in the US National Champ jersey sponsored by Trek and Panache.

Amanda “The Panda” Nauman can often be found racing on two wheels somewhere in the dirt or mud. With a few years of cyclocross racing under her belt, her accolades include multiple UCI podiums, a few SoCal Cross Prestige Series wins, a couple California Championship titles, World Cup appearances, and a brush with the European racing scene. Her goal is set on finding improvements year after year while climbing the rankings.
This cyclocross-savvy panda also plays on mountain bikes during the summer and racks up the miles on gravel bikes in the spring. The two-time champion of the Dirty Kanza 200 isn’t afraid to push the limits at endurance events and balance out the racing with long, epic adventure rides. Wherever the adventure takes her, Feedback is there to make the journey easier. #PandaPower
Sunny Gilbert is always in the mix among the best cyclocross racers in the US (maybe, the World!). She has raced in several World Cups, landed on the podium (and won a couple) of UCI races, and has consistently moved up in the standings at USAC CX Nationals, finishing 9th in 2017. When not on two wheels, she divides her time between the outdoors (hiking, camping, and gardening with her two loves, her husband Doug and her dog Gunner) and her position as a Project Scientist at Cofactor Genomics.
Sunny, and “all-things-bicycle” husband/mechanic/singlespeed racer Doug, will travel to all their favorite UCI races (and a few new ones) again this year. Racing in a black and red Van Dessel kit, you can follow her progress at www.sunnygilbert.com and @run4funner on social media.
